Travel Med Surg RN in Thousand Oaks, CA

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for adult patients in a hospital unit in Thousand Oaks, California, on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech, has a 1:5 ratio, and treats patients needing transfusions and Foley or NGT care.

• Monitor adult medical-surgical patients and report changes
• Administer ordered treatments and support transfusions
• Assist with Foley and NGT insertions
• Use bladder scanners, IV pumps, and vital sign equipment
• Support mobility with lifts and safe transfers
• Document care in Meditech and coordinate with the care team

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• Experience with COVID patients
• Experience with dialysis patients
• Experience with geriatric patients
