Travel Med Surg RN in Springfield, TN

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for medical and surgical patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Springfield, Tennessee. The unit uses Meditech Expanse and works at a 5:1 ratio. Post-op orthopedic patients are common, and blood transfusions and central line care are part of the work.

• Assess medical and surgical patients
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Assist with blood transfusions
• Assist with IV and central line maintenance
• Support post-op orthopedic recovery
• Document care in the charting system
• Coordinate with the care team

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Basic medical-surgical experience
• Post-op orthopedic patient experience
• Blood transfusion and central line care skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
