Travel Med Surg RN in Sonora, CA

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct care to adult medical-surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Sonora, California. Cerner supports documentation in a census-dependent unit with care from nursing assistants and unit clerks.

• Assess adult medical-surgical patients and update care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Cerner
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing assistants, and unit clerks
• Provide patient education and support admissions and discharges

• California Registered Nurse license
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Adult medical-surgical nursing skills
• Strong assessment, medication, and documentation skills
