Travel Med Surg RN in Fort Worth, TX

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will care for orthopedic and neurologic med surg patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Fort Worth, Texas. The 30-bed unit uses Meditech and has a 1:5 patient ratio. Spine and orthopedic braces are used on the unit.

• Provide bedside care for orthopedic and neurologic med surg patients
• Monitor postoperative recovery, pain, and neuro status
• Administer medications and support treatment plans
• Assist with mobility, bracing, and recovery teaching
• Document assessments and care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate daily plans

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Meditech experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Orthopedic or spine background
• Nursing certification
