Travel Med Surg RN in Colville, WA

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide adult and geriatric care in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Colville, Washington. The unit uses Epic, averages a 1:5 ratio, and is a teaching hospital with no trauma designation. First-time travelers are welcome with appropriate hospital experience.

• Assess adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications, oxygen, and IV therapies
• Manage central lines, PICCs, and peripheral lines
• Provide blood product administration and monitor responses
• Support colostomy, ileostomy, and surgical drain care
• Implement isolation precautions and assist with withdrawal care

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• One year of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Adult acute care experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience managing assignments of 6 patients
• Prior travel nursing experience
