Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for high-risk obstetric patients in an acute care hospital in Spokane, Washington on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic and sees antepartum, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiple gestation, and VBAC/TOLAC cases with labor ratios of 1:2 and antepartum ratios of 1:3. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal conditions
• Assist with inductions, augmentations, and vaginal deliveries
• Prepare for cesarean births, recovery, and newborn transition
• Administer IV therapies, blood products, magnesium sulfate, and insulin drips
• Educate families and document care in Epic

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, and NRP
• Epic charting system experience
• High-risk obstetric, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care skills
