Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Augusta, GA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide individualized maternal and newborn care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Augusta, Georgia.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and recovery
• Assess labor progress and respond to changes in condition
• Administer ordered medications, IV therapy, and supportive treatments
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and immediate newborn care
• Educate patients and families on labor, birth, and postpartum care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Collaborate with obstetric, nursing, and support teams throughout care

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Basic maternal and newborn care skills
