Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Fullerton, CA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will assist with catheter-based procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Fullerton, California.

• Circulate during interventional radiology and cath lab procedures
• Scrub and maintain a sterile field throughout each case
• Prepare rooms, supplies and equipment before procedures begin
• Assist with angiography, embolization and stent placement cases
• Support biopsies, drain placements and venous access procedures
• Operate vascular closure systems as directed by the team
• Document procedure details and patient responses in the record

• ACLS
• BLS
• 1 year of interventional radiology experience
• Experience with catheter-based procedures and sterile technique
• Room circulation and procedure setup experience
• Charting system experience
• Experience with vascular closure systems and endovascular interventions
