Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will assist with image-guided procedures in a hospital interventional radiology unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The department has two single-plane and two biplane rooms, a 1:1 patient ratio, uses Cerner RadNet, and is part of a Magnet-designated comprehensive stroke center.

• Scrub and circulate interventional radiology and neurointerventional cases
• Assist with embolizations, arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, and mechanical thrombectomies
• Support dialysis access work, nephrostomy tubes, G-tubes, TIPS, and Y-90 procedures
• Prepare patients, instruments, and imaging rooms for moderate sedation cases
• Maintain sterile technique and coordinate workflow with the care team
• Use single-plane and biplane imaging systems and invasive CT support as needed

• Previous interventional radiology experience, including scrub and circulate skills
• Previous neurointerventional radiology experience, including scrub and circulate skills
• Moderate sedation experience
• BLS certification

• Cath Lab experience
• Vascular OR experience
• VI Registered credential
