Travel Infection Control RN in Augusta, GA

A Travel Infection Control Registered Nurse will support infection prevention surveillance and audits in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Augusta, Georgia. The role focuses on identifying healthcare-associated infections, supporting public reporting, and monitoring cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and construction and renovation practices.

• Conduct infection surveillance and identify healthcare-associated infections
• Support mandated reporting for healthcare-associated infections
• Assist with infection prevention policy and procedure development
• Educate patients and team members on prevention practices
• Audit departments and perform rounds to monitor compliance
• Monitor cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and renovation controls

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
