Travel House Supervisor RN in San Diego, CA

A Travel RN House Supervisor Registered Nurse will oversee nursing operations and patient flow in a long-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in San Diego, California. The role supports 3 medical/surgical/telemetry units and 1 ICU unit, with a focus on bed flow, staff coordination, and critical care support.

• Coordinate bed flow and patient placement across multiple units
• Oversee daily nursing operations and support clinical decision-making
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on patient care
• Guide staff through coaching, assignment changes, and problem solving
• Monitor quality, safety, documentation, and policy adherence
• Maintain readiness of emergency equipment and nursing supplies

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS through American Heart Association
• 2 years recent hospital house supervisor experience
• ICU experience
• Ventilator and tracheostomy experience
