Travel Endoscopy Tech in Santa Monica, CA

A Travel Endoscopy Tech will assist with gastrointestinal endoscopy cases in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Santa Monica, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in a 3-room procedural area and uses Epic; the setting is beachside.

• Prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy supplies
• Assist with bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and flexible sigmoidoscopy cases
• Support urology and other endoscopic procedures
• Scrub with aseptic technique during surgical services cases
• Clean, assemble, and wrap instruments and trays
• Perform high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing

• 3 years of experience
• Prior travel experience
• High-level disinfection and instrument processing skills
• Scope assembly, cleaning, and sterilization skills

• BLS
• Fiber optics
• Inpatient experience
