Travel ED RN in Mission Hills, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mission Hills, California. The unit treats adult and pediatric cases, including trauma, stroke, sepsis, and cardiac emergencies, with Epic charting and about 30% pediatric volume.

• Triage and stabilize emergency patients across the lifespan
• Monitor and respond to trauma, stroke, and cardiac emergencies
• Administer emergency medications and IV therapies
• Assist with ventilated patients and chest tube care
• Support pediatric, behavioral health, and multisystem cases
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, radiology, and rapid response teams

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Pediatric emergency experience
• Prior travel experience
• Emergency triage and stabilization skills

• Trauma and stroke experience
• Procedural sedation monitoring
• Arterial line and ICP monitoring
• Burns, neuro-trauma, and orthopedic trauma experience
