Travel ED RN in Chewelah, WA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a critical access hospital in Chewelah, Washington on a 13-week contract. The unit serves neonates, infants, children, adults, and older adults, with Epic charting and about 16 visits per day. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage emergency patients and prioritize care
• Assess mixed-age patients and coordinate treatment
• Start and maintain IV access and give medications
• Monitor rhythms and support blood product administration
• Assist with procedural sedation and emergency interventions
• Respond to stroke, respiratory, behavioral health, and trauma cases

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Emergency department clinical skills with mixed-age patients

• NRP
• Epic charting experience
• BiPAP/CPAP, ventilator, and chest tube management
• Behavioral health, overdose, stroke, and 12 lead EKG experience
