Travel ED RN in California

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Burbank, California. The unit treats all emergency department diagnoses across neonates through geriatrics, with about 185 visits a day and 24 rooms. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage emergency patients and prioritize care
• Assess and stabilize patients across the age span
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias
• Support ventilated patients, BiPAP and CPAP therapy
• Manage central lines, IV sedation and vasopressors
• Coordinate with the care team for diagnostics and rapid response

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and PALS
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Epic charting system experience

• MAB
• ICP monitoring experience
