Travel ED RN in California

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for patients in an acute care hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Burbank, California. The unit sees all emergency department diagnoses across neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with a 1:4 ratio and 44 beds. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage patients with emergency conditions
• Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients across the emergency department
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies
• Support ventilated patients and airway care
• Monitor dysrhythmias and interpret ABGs
• Maintain central line care and isolation precautions
• Collaborate with rapid response and support services

• California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience
• Strong triage and critical care skills

• MAB
• ICP monitoring
