Travel ED RN in Athol, MA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide direct and indirect patient care in a critical access hospital in Athol, Massachusetts on a 13-week contract. The role supports triage, reassessment, timely documentation, and coordinated care for emergency patients.

• Triage and reassess emergency patients
• Administer medications and IV therapy
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and diagnostic results
• Support airway care, critical drips, and ventilatory assistance
• Provide discharge teaching and coordinate follow-up needs
• Collect forensic evidence and follow safety reporting processes

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Associate degree in nursing
• ACLS on hire or active BLS card with ACLS within 60 days of hire
• AHA PALS within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of emergency department experience

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• 3 to 5 years of emergency department experience
• TNCC, ENPC, CEN
