Travel ED RN in Asheville, NC

An Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for emergency patients in a busy emergency care center on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner, typically staffs 4:1, and may reach 7:1 for behavioral holds. The hospital is a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Magnet-designated.

• Coordinate patient flow and prioritize care in the emergency department
• Assess emergency patients and respond to changing conditions
• Administer medications and perform ordered treatments
• Document care and patient progress in Cerner
• Support triage, cardiac monitoring, and behavioral hold care
• Collaborate with the emergency team to maintain patient experience standards

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in the emergency department
• Experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and high-volume emergency department
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS before start
• ENPC within 90 days of hire
• Teamwork mindset and real-time coaching skills

• Experience in a similar emergency department environment
