Travel ED RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a busy emergency department on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner, has typical ratios of 4:1, and cares for patients on behavioral holds with ratios up to 7:1. It supports Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke care.

• Assess and stabilize patients in the emergency department
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support emergency treatments
• Care for patients on behavioral holds with a calm, respectful approach
• Document assessments, interventions, and updates in the charting system
• Work with the team to support patient flow and department needs

• Registered Nurse license for North Carolina
• 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in the emergency department
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS before start
• ENPC within 90 days of hire
• Teamwork mindset and flexibility across emergency department areas

• Previous experience in a comparable emergency department
