Travel ED RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in the emergency department in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit treats medical patients and behavioral holds, uses Cerner, and supports a Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke environment. The department is known for teamwork and a welcoming culture.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients
• Triage and prioritize patient care
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Administer medications and support emergency treatments
• Document care accurately in Cerner
• Collaborate with the ED team to support patient flow and experience

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI and NIHSS before start; ENPC within 90 days of hire
• 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in an emergency department
• 2 years in a Level 2 trauma center and high-volume emergency department
• Teamwork, coaching and real-time feedback skills

• Experience in a similar large emergency department
