Travel ED RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency department on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The setting supports high-acuity patients in a Magnet-designated, Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke environment.

• Triage emergency patients and prioritize acute needs
• Start IV access, give medications, and monitor response
• Assess, stabilize, and support high-acuity presentations
• Assist with trauma and stroke protocols as needed
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and the emergency care team
• Provide discharge instructions and safety education

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Emergency assessment, triage, and stabilization skills
• IV therapy and medication administration skills
• Clear emergency department documentation skills
