Travel Echo-Vascular Tech in Salem, VA

A Travel Echo-Vascular Tech Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer will provide cardiac ultrasound support in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Salem, Virginia. The unit serves inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular patients, uses Merge and Meditech charting, and maintains 1:1 care.

• Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms
• Assist providers during structural heart and cardiac surgery cases
• Capture high-quality images and measurements for interpretation
• Prepare patients and equipment for cardiovascular procedures
• Communicate findings and workflow needs with the care team
• Document completed studies in the electronic record

• BLS certification
• RDCS or RCS credential
• Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program
• Cardiovascular sonography skills with transthoracic and transesophageal imaging
