Travel Echo-Vascular Tech in Saint Johnsbury, VT

A Travel Echo-Vascular Tech Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer will perform diagnostic echocardiography and cardiac ultrasound imaging in a critical access hospital in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont on a 13-week contract. Studies include inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and surgical patients, with independent judgment and collaboration with cardiologists and care teams.

• Perform transthoracic, limited, contrast, and bubble studies
• Obtain cardiac images and measurements for interpretation
• Assess patient history and optimize imaging quality
• Recognize abnormalities and communicate urgent findings
• Support patient safety and comfort during examinations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams

• Accredited cardiac sonography, echocardiography, or diagnostic medical sonography program
• RDCS through ARDMS or RCS through CCI
• Current BLS certification
• 3 years of echocardiography experience
• Travel experience
• Cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, Doppler, and echocardiographic imaging skills
