Travel DOU RN in Zanesville, OH

A Travel Direct Observation Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for observation patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Zanesville, Ohio. The unit serves telemetry and med-surg patients in a Level 3 trauma setting, and Epic documentation is used.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and patient status
• Assess observation and med-surg patients
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Document care in Epic
• Coordinate care with physicians and the care team
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns
• Support discharge planning and patient education

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications
• 3 years of current or recent telemetry or med-surg experience
• Current Epic electronic medical record proficiency
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation, including BCRA
