About this job
A Travel Dialysis Registered Nurse will provide peritoneal dialysis care in a hospital renal medicine unit in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The 18-bed unit uses Cerner and serves patients needing dialysis treatment and mobilization support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with peritoneal dialysis treatments
- Monitor renal medicine patient status
- Document care and treatment responses
- Support safe mobility and transfers
- Collaborate with the charge nurse
- Promote comfort, safety, and timely care
Qualifications
- North Carolina Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- Patient care technician certification
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Certified peritoneal dialysis nurse credential
- Cerner experience
