Travel Cytotechnologist in New York

A Travel Cytotechnologist will review and evaluate cytology specimens in a cytology unit on a 13-week contract in Albany, New York. The role supports specimen processing, slide assessment, and reporting in a lab setting.

• Screen Pap and non-Pap cytology specimens
• Examine slides for abnormal findings and cellular changes
• Document and communicate findings to the care team
• Support specimen preparation, processing, and labeling
• Assist with quality control and lab workflow
• Maintain accurate records and follow laboratory standards

• New York State Cytotechnologist/Cytologist license
• ASCP Board Certification in Cytotechnology or Cytology
• 3 years of cytotechnology experience
• Current passing PAP PT testing for this calendar year or scheduled testing this calendar year

• 5 years of cytotechnology experience
