About this job

A Travel CVOR Registered Nurse will support cardiovascular surgical care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Brandon, Florida. The role works in the CVOR with a surgical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures in the CVOR
  • Prepare the operating room and surgical supplies for cases
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery
  • Maintain sterile technique and support safe surgical workflow
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff
  • Document care and respond to changing patient needs

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Registered Nurse license
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
  • Perioperative cardiovascular surgical nursing skills
