Travel CVICU RN in Lawrenceville, GA

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill cardiac patients in a specialized cardiac care ICU on a 13-week contract in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This 20-bed unit serves open heart, vascular and thoracic surgery patients and uses advanced support devices.

• Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms
• Provide post-operative care for open heart, vascular and thoracic surgery patients
• Manage support devices such as intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT and epicardial pacemakers
• Administer medications and titrated therapies in a critical care setting
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team on changes in condition
• Document patient status and interventions accurately

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of recent specialty experience
• NIHSS
