Travel CT Tech in Thornton, CO

A Travel Computed Tomography Technologist will perform CT imaging in a hospital on a 13 week contract in Thornton, Colorado. The unit uses Meditech, has two in-house scanners and a mobile unit, and typically staffs four technologists and a supervisor.

• Perform CT scans and contrast studies for body and vascular imaging
• Prepare patients and explain procedures before each exam
• Operate CT scanners and support image quality during studies
• Assist with trauma imaging cases as needed
• Document completed exams in the electronic record and PACS
• Coordinate with radiology staff to keep workflow moving

• Minimum 6 months of current CT Tech experience
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration in Computed Tomography
• Basic Life Support certification

• Night shift experience in trauma I or trauma II settings
• GE equipment familiarity
• Meditech and Centricity PACS experience
