Travel CT Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform computed tomography imaging in a short-term acute care hospital in Portland, Oregon for a 13-week contract. The department is in a teaching hospital, uses Epic, and serves inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform CT studies for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs and maintain isolation precautions
• Complete head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar exams
• Support imaging for musculoskeletal trauma and other routine studies
• Document and coordinate workflow in Epic and PACS

• ARRT Registered Technologist credential
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1 year of CT experience
• Epic and PACS experience
• CT imaging of the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine
• Contrast media preparation and peripheral IV starts

• Teaching hospital experience
• Community hospital experience
• Neonatal through geriatric CT experience
