Travel CT Tech in Petaluma, CA

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will support CT and X-ray imaging in a full-service hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Petaluma, California. The department serves mainly outpatient and emergency room traffic, with some operating room cases and about 80 exams a day.

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging exams
• Assist with operating room and C-arm cases
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Position patients for abdominal, chest, head and trauma studies
• Support fluoroscopy studies and portable imaging
• Document exams in PACS
• Work with adults across outpatient, emergency and acute care settings

• ARRT-CT certification
• BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy permit
• 2 years of CT experience
• Adult acute care, adult outpatient and emergency department experience
• Community hospital experience

• Biopsy procedures
• Brain perfusion
• Colonography or virtual colonography
• Starting peripheral IVs
