Travel CT Tech in Newberg, OR

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform CT and general x-ray imaging in an acute care hospital in Newberg, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with Epic charting and a level IV trauma setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform CT scans and assist with general x-ray coverage
• Prepare patients and start peripheral IVs for contrast studies
• Administer or assist with contrast media and image acquisition
• Use Epic and PACS to document imaging workflow
• Support trauma, emergency, urgent care referral, and inpatient studies
• Apply radiation safety and maintain image quality
• Complete 3D and multiplanar reconstructions for CT exams

• ARRT CT and ARRT R credentials
• BLS certification
• 1 year of CT experience and 1:1 patient ratio experience
• Epic charting and PACS experience
• GE system experience and general x-ray coverage
• CT exam proficiency in abdomen, carotid, cervical, chest, head, intravenous pyelogram, lumbar, pelvis, sinus, soft tissue neck, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma, trauma head, vascular chest, and vascular CTA studies
• Contrast preparation and administration, 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, region of interest measurement, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts

• Heart studies such as calcium scoring and coronary angiography
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• Community hospital experience
