Travel CT Tech in Mission Viejo, CA

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform computed tomography imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mission Viejo, California. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics, uses Epic, and supports teaching hospital and Trauma Level II care.

• Perform CT examinations of the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis and other ordered regions
• Prepare patients for imaging and verify contrast readiness
• Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media as ordered
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions during exams
• Review image quality and complete multiplanar reconstructions and measurements as needed
• Support trauma, emergency, adult and pediatric CT studies

• California state license
• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• 1 year of CT experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level II experience

• 3D rendering techniques
• Coronary CTA and heart imaging
• Biopsies, drainage and other advanced CT procedures
