Travel CT Tech in Kodiak Island, AK

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will provide computed tomography imaging in an acute care, long term care, and outpatient unit on a 13-week contract in Kodiak Island, Alaska. The unit serves infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults, uses Epic, and is designated as Level IV trauma. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform CT imaging for adult and pediatric patients
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IV access and obtain venipuncture access
• Apply radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Document exams in PACS and Epic
• Support radiography imaging as needed
• Assist with trauma, emergency, and outpatient studies

• ARRT certification in Radiography
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography
• BLS certification
• 1 year of CT experience
• Experience with PACS, contrast media administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture

• 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Brain perfusion, enterography, and vascular CTA
• Pediatric acute care and Level I trauma experience
• Epic charting system experience and Philips imaging system experience
