Travel CT Tech in California

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will provide CT imaging support in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Burbank, California. First-time travelers are welcome; the three-room unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics and handles a high patient volume.

• Perform CT imaging for head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and vascular studies
• Prepare patients and explain procedures before scans
• Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media as ordered
• Assist with emergency department, ICU, and stroke imaging needs
• Reconstruct images and support multiplanar and perfusion studies
• Document exams and maintain workflow in the imaging area

• ARRT CT certification
• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Experience with contrast media preparation and peripheral IV starts
• Community hospital experience

• Pediatric, NICU, and PICU imaging experience
• Trauma Level I experience
• Siemens equipment experience
• Epic charting system experience
