Travel CT Tech in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel CT Tech Computed Tomography Technologist will support high-volume CT imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The unit uses Epic charting, GE and Toshiba scanners, and serves mostly ED patients at a primary stroke receiving center.

• Perform CT scans for emergency, adult, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients
• Prepare and administer contrast media for ordered studies
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Operate GE and Toshiba CT scanners
• Support efficient workflow in a very busy department
• Assist with patient transport when needed

• California CRT and CT license
• ARRT CT or ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of CT experience and community hospital experience
• Experience with adult acute care, ED and adult outpatient CT

• Biopsies, aspirations and drainage
• Cardiac, vascular and brain perfusion CT procedures; PACS and Fuji Synapse experience
