Travel CNA in San Pedro, CA

A Travel Certified Nursing Assistant will provide direct care in a sub-acute center in San Pedro, California on a 13-week contract.

The unit serves adults and geriatrics with ventilator and tracheostomy dependence and uses Meditech.

• Provide direct care for adults and geriatrics in a sub-acute unit
• Assist with bathing, feeding, ambulation, turning, and repositioning
• Measure vital signs and report changes in condition
• Support tracheostomy care and oxygen therapy needs
• Perform skin, mouth, incontinence, and linen care
• Use safe transfer methods and lift equipment

• Current BLS
• One year of LTC or skilled nursing experience
• Experience caring for 8-10 patients
• Vital sign collection, including orthostatic blood pressure, respirations, radial pulse, temperature, and pulse oximetry
• Personal care skills, safe transfers, isolation precautions, tracheostomy care, and oxygen tank use
• Prior travel experience
