Travel Cath Lab Tech in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist will assist with cardiac and electrophysiology procedures in a hospital cath lab on a 13 week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit has 2 procedure rooms and uses Meditech Expanse. A Philips and GE lab setup is in place.

• Scrub for LHC, complete heart cath, PCI, CTO, peripheral, and EP cases
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and the sterile field for invasive procedures
• Assist the team during implants and complex cardiac interventions
• Monitor patient status and respond to procedural needs
• Document case activity in Meditech Expanse
• Collaborate with RNs, techs, and providers to keep cases moving smoothly

• ACLS and BLS certifications
• RCIS credential
• Scrub skills with LHC, complete heart cath, and PCI

• RCIS experience with impella, IABP, Shockwave, Inari, Penumbra, ROTA, peripheral intervention, right heart, and temporary pacing
