Travel Cath Lab Tech in Austin, TX

A Travel Cath Lab Tech will assist with cardiac catheterization procedures in a cardiac cath lab in Austin, Texas for a 13-week contract. The unit has 8 beds, 10 staff members, uses Meditech, and works with cardiovascular invasive equipment. It handles cardiac interventions in a team-focused environment.

• Prepare the cath lab and invasive cardiovascular equipment for procedures
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and PCI
• Support peripheral vascular procedures and pacemaker or defibrillator implant procedures
• Monitor patients during invasive procedures and respond to changes
• Maintain sterile technique and accurate procedural documentation
• Coordinate room turnover and supply readiness between cases
• Help position patients and support hemodynamic monitoring
