Travel Anesthesia Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel Anesthesia Technician will support anesthesia care in a hospital operating room on a 16-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit uses Epic and serves neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics in a teaching hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assist anesthesia providers during airway and surgical procedures
• Prepare, check and troubleshoot anesthesia machines and monitors
• Support intubation, emergency airway care and critical situations
• Draw blood by venous stick and arterial line
• Position, transport and monitor patients safely
• Maintain documentation, infection control and laser or radiation safety

• BLS certification
• 1 year of anesthesia tech experience
• Operating room and ambulatory surgery support skills
• Intubation, IV insertion and blood draw skills
• Anesthesia machine setup, checkout and troubleshooting skills
• Charting system experience
