Travel Ambulatory Care RN in Atlanta, GA

A Travel Outpatient Surgery Registered Nurse will support pre-surgery assessments in an acute care hospital on a 16-week contract in Atlanta, Georgia. The role serves ambulatory care patients preparing for procedures.

• Complete pre-procedure assessments
• Review histories, medications, and allergies
• Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for surgery
• Start and maintain IV access
• Educate patients on pre-op instructions and recovery expectations
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the care team
• Document assessment findings and readiness for procedure

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Two years of recent outpatient surgery or ambulatory care experience
