About this job
A Travel Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Hot Springs, South Dakota.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, fluids, and respiratory treatments
- Monitor symptoms and respond to changes in condition
- Document care, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Teach patients and families about treatments and discharge care
- Supervise assigned staff and support teamwork
Qualifications
- Current South Dakota Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or hospital nursing experience
- Clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Communication and organizational skills
- Patient-centered care mindset
