Per Diem Telemetry RN in Tarzana, CA

A Per Diem Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide telemetry nursing care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital in Tarzana, California. The unit averages 18 patients, uses Epic charting, and manages low-dose titratable drips and occasional cardioversion.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
• Assess adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neuro, and medical needs
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and titratable cardiac drips
• Support post-cardiac cath, post-MI, and post-cardiac surgery care
• Assist with oxygen delivery, heparin protocols, and chest tube care
• Collaborate with support services to coordinate patient care

• California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years recent telemetry experience
• Full-time PCU experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• Los Angeles City Fire Card within 30 days of hire

• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with 5150 holds and SI precautions
• GI surgery experience
