Per Diem Endoscopy Tech in Beverly Hills, CA

A Per Diem GI/Endo Technician will support endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures in an outpatient unit in Beverly Hills, California. The unit serves adults with GI issues and colon cancer screening needs, with 3 rooms, 10 beds and a 1:1 staffing ratio.

• Prepare procedure rooms and supplies for GI and colonoscopy cases
• Assist with endoscopes, balloon dilators, electrosurgical units, hemostasis clips and polyp snares
• Support biopsies, dilations, brushing and specimen handling
• Maintain infection control and universal protocol during procedures
• Restock carts and room supplies between cases
• Clean and organize equipment and instruments after use

• 1 year of recent GI/Endo Tech experience in an outpatient endoscopy center
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Experience with balloon dilators, electrosurgical units, endoscopes, ERBE, hemostasis clips and polyp snares
• Experience with biopsies, dilation cases, specimen handling and procedure room setup

• Instrument processing and cleaning
• Provation experience
• Sterilization and disinfection
